»Orfeo & Majnun« is a participative EU-funded project that is taking place in seven countries. The Greek myth of »Orpheus and Eurydice« meets the oriental love story of »Layla and Majnun« to merge into a tale of love, loss, longing and the power of music.
A musical theatre performance in the Great Hall of the Wiener Konzerthaus will be combined with workshops staged in cooperation with Brunnenpassage and Basis.Kultur.Wien.
The workshop groups will present the outcome of their own work – whether song, beatboxing, dance or poetry slam – in the Parcours that will take place at the StraßenKunstFest at Yppenplatz on 7 and 8 June 2019.
